Mark holds an MBA from Drake University. He holds professional certifications in business valuation, economic development and development finance. He has business ownership experience in the retail and service industries. He has experience consulting with entrepreneurs and presenting on entrepreneurship topics.
Sue Pitts

Sue works with entrepreneurial businesses as a consultant and mentor. She has developed and facilitates many training programs covering topics such as start-up basics, marketing, market research and business finance. Sue previously was the executive director of the Denison, Iowa, Chamber of Commerce for nine years, during which time she also co-owned and operated family businesses in Denison.

Julie works with educators to develop entrepreneurial curriculum for students in K-12 and the community college level. She coordinates training programs for business owners, including FastTrac classes, networking events and specialized training. Julie co-owns The Cornerstone Mansion, Omaha’s only historic inn, and formerly owned JM Communications, a freelance writing and public relations consulting firm. She is an adjunct faculty member at Buena Vista University, where she teaches business and professional communications.

Coreen assists on all levels at the entrepreneurial center. She also assists Small Business Development Center clients with market research and navigating the many resources we have at the center. Coreen Owned and operated a home daycare for 10 years. She also served as the Program Associate for a social service program.
